With a recession and 20 million people on unemployment, now is the time to work together to ensure our families have the stability that they need to thrive in today’s economy. As unemployment and automation rises, my priority as Senator is to protect Arizona jobs by creating long term opportunities that will endure in a world with continuous technological advancements.

Arizona has been on track towards becoming one of the fastest growing states in the United States. For us to sustain our infrastructure and resources, it is essential to focus on fiscal policies and responsible spending. My role as your representative is to develop comprehensives strategies that address the needs of our Arizona residents.

•       A high quality educational system that improves student engagement and employment rates.
•       Increasing educational spending that support teacher’s needs and the expansion of school safety.
•       The oversight of charter schools to ensure they meet state standards and students remain academically strong.

As companies incorporate technology into their business models, recruiting and employing qualified individuals remains a challenge that needs to be addressed in Arizona. By providing access to educational opportunities, job training and adult bridge programs; we will ultimately provide Arizona residents with the skills needed to match industry requirements and promote economic diversity in the process.

•     Fully funding healthcare that addresses the needs of our active military and Veterans.
•     Public health insurance that protects citizens and our ability to maintain a strong economic position.
•     Private healthcare insurers that allow consumers to have independent control of their healthcare.
•     Healthcare technology that reduces cost to consumers and increases overall patient care given.

Quality healthcare in Arizona is a top priority of mine and a crucial factor that defines our community. Healthcare services, whether private or public, are subjected to political factors that constantly change based on the formation of new parties coming into office. As Senator, I will represent Arizona consistently, regardless of the party in power, and avoid the instability of varying differences of opinion on how healthcare should be delivered.

In Social Issues

Keita Supports:

•     Improvements in police training, better recruitment practices and accountability.

•     Constitutional rights given to every individual and the maintenance of those rights being protected.

•    Equality in the judicial system with fair sentencing, rehabilitation and mental health support.

In the current climate of unrest and discord, Arizona needs a leader to make fair decisions, promote justice equality and fuse together a cohesive community. As your senator, my plan is to improve our social issues by diligently working and implementing new idea’s to not only strengthen our Arizona communities, but create a brighter future for the great citizens of our state.
